Casa Curator is a luxury house sitting service founded by Vanessa, who felt first-hand the need to take of your holiday home in Portugal while living abroad.
We offer everything to keep your home in Portugal safe and sound while you are away while serving you remotely.
Our services include:
- Taking care of all indoor and outdoor cleaning of your home while you are away; - Receive your mail regularly through a weekly check-up (all remotely); - Taking care of gardening (we are the liaison between that service and your home); - Handle transportation for you and your family between the airport; - We act as the liaison between any service your house may need (e.g., any type of maintenance, plumbing, electricity) and the service providers (we're at home to welcome the service provider, take photos of the service and send it to you, etc); - Handle any emergency that may happen in your home while you're away (e.g., lack of electricity, alarms, etc); - We act as your personal concierge while you're in Portugal (we can handle restaurant reservations, book transportation, buy tickets for events, etc); - The "Custom" plan can include extras like being the liaison for other needs you may have (pool cleaning) and other personal requests.
What is included under the monthly subscription?
The following services are included in the subscription:
- Execute the monthly indoor and outdoor cleaning (handled by us); - Execute the gardening (handled by a partner, but the cost is included in the subscription); - Handle services you need (e.g., repairs, etc); - Mail management while you're away; - Being your personal concierge while you're in Portugal (booking reservations, transportation, etc).
What is not included under the monthly subscription?
The following services are not included in the subscription: - The costs of transportation transfers while you're in Portugal (the transportation from and to the airport is included and handled by us); - The costs of any repairs needed in your home (we handle all the bookings, review the service, etc).
Can I meet you first before subscribing since I'm entrusting my home to you?
We totally understand your concern. The safety of your home is our main concern and it is a big responsibility to handle someone's home while they are in another country. We're happy to meet you in a call, determine all of your needs, and manage your expectations. If you prefer to meet us in person, we'd be happy to arrange a meeting when you're in Portugal or when we're in your country (reach out to us here).
I have more needs for my home. Can you take care of them?
Our "Custom" plan can include all of the services you need. Please contact us, we'll set up a call, clarify all the needs, and find a solution for you.
How do I start?
After requesting a quote, you'll receive an e-mail with all the details about the service including a call with us to clarify any questions. After subscribing to your desired monthly plan, we'll arrange everything needed to get started (e.g., cleaning calendar, access to folder to check mail, giving us the keys of your home, etc).
How can I pay for the subscription? Do you offer any discount?
We offer the options to pay via Stripe or bank transfer to our monthly plans. If you want to subscribe yearly, please contact us here and we'll offer you a 15% discount.
Do you offer support in other languages?
Yes, our founder is fluent in French and German (besides Portuguese and English), assisting you in your native language through all the steps.
